Overview
Why I recommend this route
There are many diving courses and specialties to choose from, and at the start it can be difficult to know which direction makes sense. This route gives you a clear progression instead of leaving you to piece everything together yourself. Open Water gives you the foundation. Advanced helps you apply those skills in new situations and introduces deeper diving. Nitrox teaches you to analyse your gas, understand oxygen limits and reduce nitrogen exposure at a given depth. This is the route I personally recommend most for a strong start in recreational diving.

Planning the complete route gives you one coordinated schedule, confirmed availability, clear costs and a logical progression while the Open Water skills are still fresh. Nitrox is then used during two actual Advanced dives.
Step-by-step option
You do not have to commit to all three certifications immediately. You can start with Open Water and decide afterwards whether you want to continue. Advanced and Nitrox can also be completed during a later trip. The main benefit of planning the full route now is certainty. Your courses can be coordinated around your available time instead of arranging each stage separately.

Requirements
Confirm your eligibility
- No previous certification is required to begin Open Water
- Minimum ages and junior limits apply to each course
- Basic water comfort and the required swim/float assessment
- Medical screening applies
Open Water
Complete Open Water theory, confined-water training and four ocean dives, then receive the Open Water certification.
Advanced
Complete Advanced with Deep, Underwater Navigation and three additional Adventure Dives.
Nitrox
Complete Nitrox theory, cylinder analysis and dive-computer setup, and use Nitrox during two Advanced dives.
Is there an additional package discount?
No. The coordinated route totals 25,100 THB: Open Water 11,000 THB, Advanced at the returning-student price of 9,000 THB and integrated Nitrox 5,100 THB.
How long does the route take?
The current route is planned over about 5½ days.
Are all Advanced electives guaranteed?
No. Conditions, planning and availability determine the final Advanced electives and dive order.
Is accommodation included?
No. Accommodation is arranged separately around the course dates.
