Cancelling before your course
If you need to cancel or move your course, contact Lex as early as possible. If you cancel at least 14 days before the course, Lex will normally try to move your booking once to another suitable date or allow a suitable replacement to take your place. This depends on availability and is only confirmed in writing. With less notice, changing the booking may still be considered in exceptional circumstances, but it cannot be guaranteed.
After full payment
PADI eLearning and course materials are assigned only after full payment. Once these have been assigned, they cannot be refunded.
When the course has already started
Training that has already been completed is not refundable. When you cannot continue, Lex will review which parts remain and whether the course can be completed through a new plan. Additional instructor time, boat sessions or training may involve extra costs.
Late arrival or no show
Contact Lex immediately when you expect to be late or cannot attend. A missed session or no show can make it impossible to continue with the original schedule. Lex will review the situation case by case, but additional sessions and costs may be required.
Weather, safety or operational changes
Diving plans sometimes change because of weather, safety or operational conditions. A suitable new date or schedule will be offered first. When the cancelled activity cannot reasonably be replaced, the amount paid for that cancelled and unused activity will be refunded. PADI materials already assigned and training already completed remain separate.
Accommodation bookings
Lex can arrange your accommodation reservation and pass on requested changes. Room availability, payments, cancellations and refunds are handled entirely by Ban’s Diving Resort and reception. Lex does not own or operate the accommodation.
Requesting a change
Send the name used for the booking, the course and original dates, the requested new date or replacement person, and any relevant practical information. Your booking remains unchanged until Lex confirms the new arrangement in writing.
