Overview

Use enriched air with the planning it requires.

Nitrox does not automatically make the whole dive longer. Because you breathe less nitrogen at a given depth, your no decompression limit may be longer. That can allow more time at depth within the plan, but the dive itself may still end for other reasons, especially gas supply.

  • Understand oxygen exposure and depth limits
  • Analyse and label a Nitrox cylinder
  • Set the correct oxygen percentage on a dive computer
  • Plan within the maximum operating depth of the analysed gas
